Meet the Founder

Jesse Devlin began running guided sauna sessions in the UK in 2021, at a time when this style of sauna experience was not yet established here. Since then, she has developed The Sauna Corner into one of the UK's specialist sauna training platforms.

She has trained over 100 sauna professionals, been shortlisted twice for UK Best Sauna Master and teaches nationally and internationally, including with the International Sauna School in Estonia. Her work has also featured on BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine Show.

With a background in education, Jesse is a qualified teacher and qualified mental health nurse, as well as a 500-hour yoga teacher, Ayurvedic massage therapist, fitness instructor and meditation guide. Her approach is informed by training in Lithuanian, Latvian, Finnish and Estonian sauna culture and mastery, combined with the realities of the modern British sauna industry.

The Guided Sauna Session

The Guided Sauna Session is a fusion of Nordic and Baltic sauna traditions with breathwork, mindfulness, sound, conscious connection and other holistic practices.

It brings structure and intention to the sauna experience, creating a journey that can be shaped around the group, the setting and the host. The framework provides direction, but there is always space for the individual character, creativity and skills of the sauna master to come through.

THE GROUP SEATED WHISKING FORMULA

Developed by Jesse Devlin, The Sauna Corner's Group Seated Whisking Formula transforms traditional leaf-whisking into a shared group sauna experience.

Rather than whisking one person at a time, Jesse has developed a unique seated format that allows an entire group to experience the treatment together. This approach to whisking s unique to The Sauna Corner.

The training teaches the principles, techniques and structure behind the formula, giving sauna masters the skills to introduce this group experience into their own sauna offering.
